About

Caitlin M. Cahill

“Did it make you laugh? Good.”

Caitlin has a BFA in Illustration and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

She grew up on a steady diet of The Simpsons and her mom’s DVDs of Xena Warrior Princess; these shows formed the basis for her sense of humor and desire to kick butt. At age eleven, she was inspired by the graphic novelist M. Alice Legrow and comic writer Neil Gaiman to pursue storytelling as a career. Their gothic oeuvres sparked something dreadful yet wonderful in her.

Her interests are writing for television and animation.

She is fond of writing slapstick comedies, satire, and horror with a dash of whimsy.

Caitlin also advocates for better depictions of mental health and neurodivergent voices in the media, having been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and OCD herself.

Caitlin's favorite food is chocolate chip cookies.

Her favorite color is unabashedly pink!

Her favorite movie is Tootsie.
